It's Oopsy!

We have chosen Oopsy to profile this week and are including items from two of her many shops, Oopsy and Oopsy Paperie. Oopsy's style is big, bold and graphic. She often uses color and unusual cropping to add fun to her products.
This business card features a mix tape image that is perfect for a DJ or anyone in the music or entertainment fields. Although this business card is available in a variety of colors, the clear one with neon green accents fits perfectly with nightlife and music.
This is a simple rack card that makes effective use of color and cropping. The bold bright circles make this piece sure to stand out. The simplicity of the business name and website don't overwhelm the graphic.
Oopsy doesn't only do large bold graphics. On this business card she has integrated a refined typography with color that is spot-on for a pottery business giving it a sophisticated air.
On this business card for a photographer, Oopsy relies on clean typography while the reverse utilizes a black-and-white image of a camera.
It's a business card, it's a sticker. It's both. This is a brilliant use of a promotional product. The large typesize makes sure its easily seen and the icons are straightforward, yet effective.

This unique and playful monogram stands out in a cropped white circle against a subtle blue pattern background giving a modern touch that is completely versatile. This particular card was created as one for a wedding planner but it can fit any consumer services-related profession.

This is a delightful corporate identity series for a bakery. The logo is powerful and relevant as are the colors. Shown are a business card and announcement.
This business card for a quilter utilizes a typeface that resembles needlework. The cheerful image has wonderful details and a cross-stitch feel.

An adorable series for a day care establishment. The typeface is on target and fun. The white text holder is reminiscent of clouds against a bright blue sky making it a perfect to use in a child-centric business.

This business card is for a wedding cake decorator. The front gives you all you need to know about the company with an effective use of a cropped wedding cake graphic. Having it against a bright red is appropriate for events and adds playfulness. The reverse repeats the cake image along with contact information.

Be sure to visit Oopsy's shops for versatile and one-of-a-kind business products.

Pro Business Cards

This week, we have chosen Pro Business Cards to review, just one of the many shops from Starzraven. Overall, what makes this shop stand out is conceptual design. The following are unique business card designs from this shop.
This is a fairly recent addition to Pro Business Cards' shop which was created as a custom design. Frankly, I love to see a new idea for a business card that hasn't been done dozens of times before. This is distinctive and incorporating a section of actual crochet and a yarn-wrapped heart into the image was masterful and gives a nice 3D effect.

I love how this business card for an event coordinator is made to look like a ticket. Simple, bold but effective. Successful conceptual design should speak for itself and even without the text, it instantly conveys the idea an event.

Choosing the red versions of these music-centered business cards was arbitrary as they are bold color options and perfectly relevant for the music industry. The unusual cropping and angles in the guitar photographs give each card visual interest. The second one especially directs you right into the text.
Another great conceptual business card, obviously for a lighting technician or designer. The lights almost make me squint which they'd obviously do if they were pointing right at you. I've seen other lighting technician cards but I feel that this is probably one of the most successful as it truly gives a sense that the "lights are on".

Pro Business Cards introduced me to idea of the resume business card. I'm kind of old-school when it comes to job hunting, but this card is genius. I can imagine meeting a potential employer in a spontaneous encounter and then pulling this out for them to review immediately. It's thoroughly handy in both its size and content and job hunters always need that special edge to stand out in front of a prospective employer.

These are lovely business cards for a bakery or cupcake shop. Very often you'll find this category of cupcake/bakery themed business cards overwrought with just too much for the eye to process. I like how the cupcake is a single highlighted object and that the rest of the design is simple and clean with appropriate typography.

This is a smart corporate business card that is completely versatile. The name, obviously, is spot-on, "Above the Bar" and the blue gradient utilizes an appropriate corporate palette.

Pro Business Cards does 3D effects skillfully, evident in the use of gradients for the button on this tech-centric business card. Crisp typography allows the graphic to be center stage.

Pro Business Cards has a wide variety of business cards for your professional needs. Great concepts and unique presentation are the hallmarks of her store. Make sure you stop by!
